I’ve purchased two of the “official” PS3 controller skins in the past, and it’s one of those things: once you have one, it’s hard to play without it. Couldn’t find the official one anywhere, so I went with this one, and I must say, I prefer this one. I like the ridges on the sides, and, for whatever reason it doesn’t get as oily as the official one. I doubt it’s “oil resistant” or anything, lol, but seriously, it’s a noticeable difference.

Amazon has a few skins available and I researched them all. These are the best.
Can get tricky getting the ends around the controller arms but once it’s on, it’s a very sexy fit. Very form fitting and never slips (a big plus).
Thing that sets these apart from the rest are the side ridges located by the handles, seems to allow you to keep a solid grip on the controller even after the palms get sweaty or on long summer afternoons.
Beware of the shipper though, took over 2 weeks to get this out to me – its a 7oz package.

First off I received it in this cheap little clear bag about 2″ by 3″. no brand name or sku # on the bag or anything but the biggest disappointment is that it wasn’t the same cover. It had no side grips like the one in the picture. another problem that the skin covers the lights on the front of the controller. There is a skin that Sony sells at Target which is Sony licensed that fits a lot better, has an opening for the front lights and is way better quality. It sells for $8.00.
