I bought this originally for rock band on the ps2 because it was the only mic in stock. It worked for my PsII, even though it said PsIII mic. Then we got an xbox360 and i bought rock band for that as well and this mic worked just fine. All in all, it works for xbox360 which is all i really need it for. So if you’re shifting between xbox 360 and playstation consoles for games which require a mic, this one may be for you.

Works great with Karaoke Revolution games on PS2 and PS3. Singstar games WILL NOT work with this.

This USB mic works well but there is no reason to overpay. The exact same model for the PS2 is 10 dollars cheaper on Amazon. From all the specs and pics I’ve compared, these are the exact same mics and are compatible on both systems. What gives charging 10 dollars more for different packaging label? Don’t get ripped off! Buy the PS2 version!

We actually like this mic better than the one that comes with rock band. Its lighter and more sensetive which makes the tamborine parts much easier. Highly recommended.

I bought this when we needed a new USB microphone for our PS2 Rockband & Guitar Hero 3. The microphone that came with the PS2 Rockband seemed good, until about six months after we owned it the cord broke off the microphone. On THIS microphone the cord goes up under the bottom and it’s not attached to it. (I hope that makes sense.) This is much better made! The grip on the microphone seems better and the overall feel of it is really nice. This microphone is a universal USB that works well with PS2/PS3/Xbox 360 Guitar Hero Series & Rockband’s series. If you’re in the market for a good USB microphone, look no further.
